With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Keith Hunter of Kingstree, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 65. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Keith Hunter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindberg Hunter Sr. and Lillie Mae L. Hunter; his brothers, Elijah Hunter and Linburg Hunter; his father-in-law Stanley Greenlee; his nephew Lorenzo Hunter; his niece Daisy Brown; and his great-niece Katlyn Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Bowman; his children, Doward Terrell Hunter of Columbia, SC, Devyn Malachi Bowman of Anderson, SC, Shai'Evony Tyaja Bennett (Keytorial) of Anderson, SC and Evelyn Kamiyah Bowman of Anderson, SC; his granddaughter Kehlani "Lanie Girl" Bennett of Anderson, SC; his mother-in-law Cheryl Greenlee of Anderson, SC; his siblings, Leonard Hunter of Kingstree, SC, Curtis Hunter of Kingstree, SC and Edna Earline Chandler (Olin) of Kingstree, SC; his siblings-in-law, Stanton Greenlee of Anderson, SC, Keri Williams (Richard) of Easley, SC, LaSondra Carson of St. Louis, Quantina Rice of Anderson, SC, Cielita Rice of Anderson, SC and Destiny Jade Rafey of Anderson, SC; and his aunt Hazel Austin of Charleston, SC.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dimery and Rogers Chapel - Kingstree (404 E Main St, Kingstree, SC 29556). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (701 St John St, Kingstree, SC 29556).
