He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred LeGrand Rodgers, Jr. and Mary Isabella Evans Rodgers; his siblings, Emory Dale Rodgers and Betty Jo Rodgers Duke; and his daughter-in-law Tami Rodgers.
He is survived by: his children, Davis LeGrand "Dave" Rodgers, Jr., Melissa Rodgers Ward and Margaret Ann "Maggie" Rodgers Coffey (Terry) of Waynesboro, GA; his grandchildren, Josh Rodgers (Mary Gray) of Florence, Abby Knotts (Corey) of Coward, Justin Ward (Myla) of Holly Springs, NC, Katie Ward of Lake City, Victoria McCollough (Matthew) of Florence and John Wyatt Hanniford (Kayla McKenzie) of Kingstree; his great grandchildren, Austin, Lee, Millie, Jackson and Arkam Ward; and his sister Julie Burnett (Jesse) of York, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Williamsburg Baptist Church (8378 Hemingway Hwy, Kingstree, SC 29556).
