She was predeceased by : her parents, Sammie E. Cooper and Mary Wilson Cooper; her husband Lee Chandler; and her children, Sammie L. Chandler and Linda Chandler.

She is survived by : her children, Henry Chandler (Vernell), Velma C. Jackson of Jonesboro, GA and Jessie L. Chandler of Philadelphia, PA; her brother Clyde Cooper (Deloris); and her son Michael "Bubba" Bradley. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
