He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin McCrea and Olive Scott McCrea; and his siblings, Blondell Dixon, Troy McCrea, Robert McCrea, Joseph McCrea, Franklin McCrea and LeRoy McCrea.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy McCrea; his daughters, Dr. Lisa Olive Kershaw (Martin) of Columbia, SC and Natalie Ann Sullivan (JD) of Montclair, NJ; his grandchildren, Charles, Clarence, Christopher, Celena and Christian; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel and Amir; his sister Dethilee Payne of Kingstree, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Jannie Wees McCrea and Carla McCrea. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (701 St John St, Kingstree, SC 29556).
