In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Susan Diane Collins had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Susan Diane Collins may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Collins and Vera Kennedy Collins; and her brother Thomas Stephen Collins. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Glen Mitchum; her son Bryan Mitchum of Concord, NC; her sisters, Carolyn Garland (Steve) of Rock Hill, SC and Judy Richardson (Larry) of Anderson, SC; her granddaughter Margaret Elizabeth Wittmann; and her sister-in-law Kaaron Collins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Family Life Center. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Kingstree First Baptist Church (400 N Academy St, Kingstree, SC 29556).
