It is with sadness that the passing of Virginia S. Tyler (Kingstree, South Carolina) is shared. Virginia, born on September 9, 1929, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Virginia will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Virginia by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Virginia is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Virginia’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Onal Small and Essie Jeanette Smith Small; her husband Walter Earl Evans, Sr.; her brother Charles Eugene Small, Sr. (Dorothy); and her sister-in-law Sybil Parks Small.
She is survived by: her son Walter Earl Evans, Jr.; and her brother Earl Lee Small, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Williamsburg Funeral Home (332 E Main St, Kingstree, SC 29556).
