He is survived by: his wife Mollie Hucks McMakin; his daughters, Melissa Mills (James) of Summerville and Jennifer Evans of Ladson; his sister Lena Cooper (Sam) of St. Stephen; and his grandchildren, Jessica Dear, Kaitlyn Larisey, Brittany Kline, Courtney Evans and Joseph Evans. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
