She was predeceased by: her parents, Ogden Haynes and Mary Haynes. She is survived by: her husband John Penton; her son Daniel Penton (Judy) of Moncks Corner, SC; and her sisters, Diane Stringer (James) of Summerville, SC, Nancy Strickland (Terry) of Hollywood, SC, Brenda Wickline of Cross, SC and Sandy Trivett (Billy) of Summerville, SC. She is also survived by 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Parks Funeral Home (130 W 1st N St, Summerville, SC 29483).
