Mary Grimes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Grimes of Ladson, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Harte and Mary Harte; her son Andrew Grimes; her husband Larry Grimes; and her brothers, Patrick Harte and John Harte.
She is survived by: her son Paul Grimes; her daughter-in-law Sarah; her grandchildren, Rory Andrew Grimes and Dorothy Maura Grimes; and her sister Ann Harte.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home (303 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (11001 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC 29485). A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at the Dorchester Memory Gardens (11000 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC 29485).
