Though Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maxine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donavan J Allen and Grace Margaret Allen; and her sister Sandra Lee Ford. She is survived by: her daughter Mindy Allen; her son-in-law Shawn Jones; her grandson Cole Jones; and her siblings, Tanya Brooks, Susan Gassaway and Mark Allen (Saengdeuane).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609).
