She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sewell, Sr. and Myrtle Dewitt Sewell; and her sister Annette Sewell. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Hendrix, Matthew Hendrix and Nicholas Hendrix; her siblings, James Sewell, Lyndon Sewell (Jennifer), Tabitha Hendrix (John), Shawn Sewell (Michele), Kevin Sewell (Sue) and Denise Kriner (David); and her great-nephew Waylon West. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home (303 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beacon Church (1232 Lincolnville Rd, Ladson, SC 29456). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Dorchester Memory Gardens (11000 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC 29485).
