He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbur Wise and Nollie Powell Wise; his former life partners, Connie Parrott Wise and Winnie Johnson Wise; and his siblings, Mildred Lyidery, Buddy Gene Wise, Shirley W. Moore and Wilbur R. Wise, Jr..

He is survived by : his fiancé Thayedelle Pate of Lake City; his son Brantley Wise, II (Lisa) of Conway; his granddaughter Heather Wise of El Paso, TX; and his siblings, Vera Cribb (Norton) of Pleasant Hill, Norma Jean Hanna of Prospect, Audrey Haselden (Jack) of Gresham, Esda Baxley (Larry) of Johnsonville and Kenneth Wise (Sue) of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
