With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dankey Culick (Lake City, South Carolina), who passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Culick and Ninea Floyd Culick; his children, Wendy Culick, Meninea Culick, Kevin Culick and Danny Culick; his granddaughter Laci Shady; and his siblings, O'Neal Culick and Annie Lee Hickman.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia B. Culick of Lake City; his children, Shannon Shady (Chuck) of Lake City and Joey Culick (Trina) of Lake City; his grandchildren, Dustin Shady (Britney), Ashton Culick (Kelly), Daniel Culick (Kacey), Steven Stone (Alyssa), Devon Culick, Bootsie Culick, Zoey Culick and Eli Culick; and his sisters, Jeanette Mims (Leon) of Cades, Karen Scott (Mark) of Manning, Lois Culick of Cades and Mae Dean McKenzie of Kingstree. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church (1701 New Zion Rd, Lake City, SC 29560).
