He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Douglas Floyd; his parents, Ebert E. Floyd, Sr. and Julia Pye Floyd; his sister Linda Floyd Miles; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Douglas and Dwayne Douglas.
He is survived by: his son Floyd, III of Lake City; his brother Randy Floyd (Cheryl) of Lake City; his siblings-in-law, Billy Douglas (Judy) of Tabor City, NC, Michael Lara of Florence and Ellen Wright of Little River; and his friends, Patty Gregory and Tanya Sebnick (Eric).
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lake City Memorial Park (522 W Main St, Lake City, SC 29560). A reception was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM.
