He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. "Jack" Young and Nora Francis Coker Young; his brother Phillip Young; and his uncle Bill Coker. He is survived by: his uncle Ben Coker, Jr. (Polly); his aunt Betty Coker; his stepsibling's children, Erin Strickland (Rocky), Amy Webb (Jason) and Travis Brickle (Nichole); and his close friend Shawn Lowder. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other extended family.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Baldwin Matthews Cemetery (522 W Main St, Lake City, SC 29560).
