He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Evans and Etta Lurene Evans; his brother Norman Evans; and his aunt Lonnie Mae Evans. He is survived by: his wife Faye Evans; his children, Sheila Richardson (James) of Morresville, NC, Sharon Matthews (Allan) of Lake City and Will Evans (Penny) of Lake City; his grandchildren, Austin Richardson, Laura Leigh Richardson, Jacob Matthews, Matthew Lamb (Brittany), Cierra Lamb, Connor Evans and Slade Fennell; his great grandchildren, Gracelyn Prosser, Easton Lamb and Annalise Lamb; and his sisters, Dianne Wells of Gainesville, FL, Cynthia Williamson (Rick) of Leesville, SC and Chasity Coker (Kipp) of Manning, SC..
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Little Star Free Will Baptist Church (2750 Lake City Hwy, Lake City, SC 29560). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
