With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laurie Cornelius Dennis (Lake City, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Dennis and Florence Elmore Strother; and his brother Larry Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Evans Dennis of Lake City; his son Joey Dennis (Ann) of North Carolina; his brothers, Terry Dennis (Linda) of Mullins, Jerry Dennis (Teresa) of Florence, Ronnie Dennis of Florence and Lester Elmore of Florence; his granddaughter Kaylee Dennis of Columbus, Georgia; his cousin Donna Gardner; his half-siblings, Keith Wilkins of Spartanburg and Lynne Dennis of Spartanburg; and his pets, Precious and Sissy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Little Star Free Will Baptist Church (2750 Lake City Hwy, Lake City, SC 29560). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
