She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ezelle Floyd and Mary Welch Floyd; her sister Barbara Floyd Newton (Willa); her parents-in-law, Donald and Amelia Beard; her niece Addison McCutcheon; and her brother-in-law Dean McKenzie.
She is survived by: her husband Stevie "Puddin" Beard of Lake City; her children, Dion Beard (Leigh Ann) of Olanta and Lindsey Knight (Bryan) of Lake City; her grandchildren, Kaydin Knight, Kenleigh Knight, Kingsley Knight, Finley Beard, Abbie Turner and Kate Turner; her siblings, Dessie Floyd McKenzie, Larry Floyd (Helen) and Thurmond Floyd (Sandra); her siblings-in-law, Al Newton, Spencer Beard, Babbie Hardy and Clara Beard; and her close friend Sharon Driggers.
