She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertie Orman and Will Orman; her husband John Elmer Smith; and her sisters, Doris Orman Davis and Dorothy Orman Cole.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Overton (Ed) and Bethany Hardin (Buddy); her granddaughter Tamara Bostick (Dave); and her great grandchildren, Allison Bostick, Tyler Bostick, Ford Dewar, Smythe Dewar, Collins Dewar and Cole Dewar.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bush River Funeral Home (5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
