It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Watford Amerson of Lamar, South Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Watford and Elise Spires Watford; her husband Derrick Amerson; and her sisters, Dot Reynolds and Jessie Strickland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wannette Amerson and Sandy A. Harrell; her grandchildren, Jessica Phillips (Rego), Phillip Poarch, Brittany Amerson, Tiffany Harrell and Billy Poole; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Derrick, Devin, Joshua, Amari, Hunter and Carter; and her siblings, Dean Sutton, Jean Finch, Mency Roberts, Barbara Welch (Don), Jimmy Watford (Tony) of Arthur, Donnie Watford and Billy Watford (Pat). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
