It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hyman Beasley Lee (Lamar, South Carolina), born in Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lee and Tossie Lee; and his brothers, Robert Lee and Charles Lee. He is survived by: his wife Barbara King Lee; his children, Rusty Lee (Tierra) and Rebecca Ponder (Doug); his grandchildren, Rocket, Sasha, Malcolm, Clementine, Gavin, Corvin, Sebastian, Tryston and Cloe; and his friends, Heather Clayton and Jessica Norris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, in-laws, and numerous additional family members.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church of Lydia (3061 Wesley Chapel Rd, Lamar, SC 29069). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
