She was predeceased by : her parents, Winnie Commander and Felix Damon, Sr.; and her siblings, Josephine Damon Hudson, Mattie Isaac, Mary Ethel Matthew, Herbert Damon, Leroy Damon, Felix Damon, Jr., John Commander and Robert Commander, Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Moultrie "June" Wilson (Earnestine) of Lamar, SC, Mary Alice Toney (late Walter) of Mayesville, SC and Azalee Wilson Blyther of Lamar, SC; and her sister-in-law Frances Wilson of Sumter, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews that affectionately called her Grandma, other relatives and very dear friends.
