With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Windham of Lamar, South Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Windham and Mattie Marie Watford Windham; his wife Peggy Windham; and his siblings, Clarence "Candy Ball" Windham, Virginia Atkinson, Edie Atkinson, Harold Windham, Ted "Peter" Windham and Ned Windham.

He is survived by : his sons, Mark Windham (Dena) and John Windham (Toni Brantley); his grandchildren, Cassidy Windham, Patrick Windham (Ashley), Justin Windham, Jason Windham, Aaron Brantley (Stacy) and Dana Brantley; his great grandchildren, Payton, Ashton, Paxton, Trent, Addison, Brayton and Brooklyn; his stepson William Layton; and his siblings, Ruby Bailey (Ray), Willie James Windham, Clarice Cliffton, Mary Alice Shoemake, Mattie Ann Poston, Robert "Shot" Windham (Linda) and Carl "Dagger" Windham (Cindy).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christian Pathway Church (905 Hibiscus Rd, Lamar, SC 29069). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
