It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nellie Windham Amerson of Lamar, South Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her son William "Little Bill" Amerson, Jr.; her siblings, Franklin, Baites, Clay, Troy, Neil Windham and Ruth Ann LeBase; and her parents, Ruth Windham and Ervin Windham.

She is survived by : her husband William "Bill" Amerson; her daughter Kathy Pratt; her grandchildren, Tripp and Peyton Pratt; her brother Hillery Windham; her son-in-law Jimmy; and her caregivers, Virginia, Delores, Nora, Bonita, Amber, Emily of Centerwell and Dr. Michael Barrett.
