He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Blease and Mattie Henrietta Watford Joye; and his brother Horace Edward Joye. He is survived by : his children, Richie Joye and Jackie Joye Hyatt (Andrew); his siblings, Rev. Carroll Joye and Nelia Weaver; and his grandson Carter Hyatt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
