She was predeceased by: her father William Troy Barton; her husband Sidney B. Snipes; her siblings, Paul Barton, Max Barton, Gerald Barton, Louise Slayton, Mary Robinson, Juanita Knight, Dot Nesbit and Yvonne Smith; and her nephew Donald "Donnie" Barton.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Louise Williams Barton; her daughter Mary Louise Snipes Weatherford (Lucian "Boogie" Weatherford, Jr.); her grandchildren, Brent Weatherford and Stacey Biddy (John); her great grandchildren, Stella and Holden; and her great great grandchildren, Liam and Alex. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Lancaster Memorial Park (1389 Memorial Park Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
