He was predeceased by: his parents, Burke Gilbert Duncan, Sr. and Iva Steele Duncan; his wife Betty Duncan; his son Chadwick Moore Duncan; his siblings, Bobbie Walters, Sam Duncan (Beverly), Don Duncan and Lum Duncan; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Sims and Robert Sistare.
He is survived by: his son Rusty Duncan (Heather); his grandchildren, Bryce Duncan, Blake Duncan and Meredith Duncan; his siblings, Mack Duncan (Hattie), Betty Sims, Diane Sistare, Richard Duncan and Debbie Snipes (Ken); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Duncan and Paul Walters. He is also survived by his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home & Crematory (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Methodist Church (3734 State Rd S-29-729, Lancaster, SC 29720). A burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at the Hopewell United Methodist Church (3734 State Rd S-29-729, Lancaster, SC 29720).
