She was predeceased by: her parents, Toye Williams and Theo Phillips Williams; her children, Karl Blackmon, Mark Blackmon and Deanna Blackmon; and her aunt Deannie Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Carson Blackmon; her daughters, Linda Taylor (Dennis) and Patricia Walters; her granddaughters, Carla Knight (Mike) and Jillian Walters (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Skylar Knight (Stella), Madison Knight, Arianna and Colton; her great great grandchild Emmie Louise; and her caregivers, Shannon Davis, Patricia Deese and Kevin Ferris.
