She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clyde Phillips, Sr. and Coree Hunter Phillips; and her siblings, Talmadge Phillips, Clyde "Bill" Phillips Jr., Ralph Phillips, Wilson "Punk" Phillips, Dallas Faulkenberry and Ruth Sowell.

She is survived by: her daughter Vickie Stokes; her grandsons, Bryant Stokes (Julie), Richard Stokes (Jaimie) and Clint Stokes (Autumn); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Dawson, Hudson, Annabel, Hayden, Daylon, Emily, Clairissa, Hannah and Allina; her sisters, Jeanette Hunter, Joanne Hunter and Yvonne Bragg (Clint); and her sister-in-law Elsie Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces/nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home & Crematory (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
