He was predeceased by: his parents, Cohen Greer and Anna Pearl Ruth; and his brother Jerome Greer. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Austin Cassells of Columbia, SC and Kaywan Shaw of Hopkins, SC.; and his siblings, Lula Thompson (Dudley) of Union, SC and Wardell Greer of Buford, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (410 W Meeting St, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (2832 River Rd, Union, SC 29379).
