It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David York Sr. of Lancaster, South Carolina, born in Warsaw, New York, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Art York and Mary Elizabeth Burse; his son David York, Jr.; and his stepmother Florence. He is survived by: his son Scott York (Dawn); his grandchildren, Michael York, Taylor White-Assali (Ronny), Amanda York and Kaylee York; and his brothers, Bill York (Pat) and Pete York (Mary Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
