He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James Brazzell and Faye Lee Ghent Brazzell; his wives, Ruby Roach Brazzell and Carolyn English Brazzell; his son Donald R. Brazzell, Jr.; his grandson Eric Dunlap; his stepchildren, Timothy Carnes and Kathy Adams; and his sisters, Margaret Brazzell, Nancy Hunter, Elizabeth Walters and Evelyn Crenshaw.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Michael "Mike" Brazzell (Jeannie), Donna Penegar (Bobby, Jr.) and Crystal Brazzell. He is also survived by six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Liberty Freewill Baptist Church (3026 Camp Creek Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Lancaster Memorial Park (1389 Memorial Park Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Agape Hospice, 404 W. Meeting Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.
