He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester Cole and Pearlie Mae Kennington Cole; and his siblings, Kenneth Cole, John Cole, Wayne Cole and Judy Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Cole; his children, Chris Cole (Shanett) of Huntersville, NC, Randy Cole (Reba) of Anderson, SC and Darian Cole (Monica) of Lancaster, SC; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Wilczewski (Matt) of Huntersville, NC, Blade Cole of Lancaster, SC, Raegan Cole (Douglas Denton) of Lancaster, SC, Morgan Cole (Drake Love) of Heath Springs, SC, Stephanie Lockaby (Kevin) of Anderson, SC and Christen Carter of Waxhaw, NC. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and many other special family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720).
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Mr. Cole's memory may make a memorial contribution to a charity of their choice.
