We are sad to announce that, on March 13, 2026, at the age of 77, Gary Snipes Sr. (Lancaster, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Snipes and Azalee Robinson Snipes; and his siblings, Larry Snipes, Paul Snipes, David Snipes and Effie Snipes.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Snipes; his son Rev. Gary Wayne Snipes, Jr. (Julie); his granddaughter Kendal Whitaker (Greyson); his great grandchild Annemarie Whitaker; his sister Lois Roberts; and his nephew Donnie Snipes. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
