He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Varnadore and Effie Cook Varnadore of Lancaster, SC.; and his sister Esther Varnadore Kerr. He is survived by: his nieces, Kathryn Wheeler, Eva Cooke, Betsy Mitchel and Nancy Kerr; his great-nieces, Elizabeth Wheeler, Katie Georges, Willa Mitchel and Caitie Mitchel; and his great-nephew Michael Cooke.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Catherine Catholic Church (720 W Meeting St, Lancaster, SC 29720).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus, Christ King Council 10066, c/o Bruce Hutchison, 757 Ethel Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.
