It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Piner of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Gary Wayne departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary Wayne leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Piner and Sandra Piner; his siblings, Glenda Piner and Jerry Piner; and his nephew Levi Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Erica Piner, Hannah Piner, Haley Piner and Evan Piner; his nieces, Micah Roberts and Rana Sanders; and his great-nephew Naven Roberts.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Service (806 Circle Dr, Monroe, NC 28112).
