He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Harris and Peirene Tate Harris; his daughter Gloria Stover; and his siblings, Eric Harris, Willie Harris, Rosa Lee, Eva Mae and Bernice.
He is survived by: his daughters, Annie Houston (Jeffrey) of Charlotte and Jean Harris of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Terry, Wayne, John and Tay'Reekio; and his brother TJ Harris (Mary). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
