He is survived by: his children, Sara Phillips Simpson (Richard), Tim Phillips (Lynn) of Lancaster, Kerry Phillips (Glenda) of Lancaster, Andy Phillips (Bridget) of Lancaster and Kevin Phillips (Pam) of Easley, SC; his grandchildren, Walt Simpson, Erin Simpson Lozier (Sam), Will Simpson (Logan), Lane Phillips (Victoria), Meryl Phillips, Mark Phillips, Sara Phillips, Leah Phillips Dawson (Tyler), Connor Phillips (Breana), Noah Phillips, Anna Phillips, Logan Phillips and John Mark Phillips; his great grandchildren, Willa Claire Lozier, Graham Lozier, Jaxon Phillips, Lawson Phillips and Ada Kate Phillips-Horne; and his sisters, Betty Catoe of Lake Wylie, Miriam Cauthen of Camden, Mary Lou Mosely (Billy) and Doris Hammond (Paul) of Lancaster.
