We bid farewell to Helen Hegler (Lancaster, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 23, 2025 at the age of 88. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee Kirkley and Winnie Estelle Threatt Kirkley; her son Stephen Everett Hegler; her sister Wilma Sims; and her son-in-law Richard Buffone.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest R. Hegler; her daughters, Kim Painter (Steve) and Sandra Hegler; her sisters, Kitty Ormand and Bobbi Funderburk; her grandchildren, Jacy Kelly, Lily Buffone and Elena Buffone; and her great grandchildren, Painter Kelly and Lucy Kelly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
