He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Queen; his former wife Peggy Young; his daughter Lori Ann Young; and his siblings, Willard, Dillard, Walter, Woodrow, Hayes, Edgar Young, Ruby, Edna, Emma-Jean, Lois Marie and Lorenia-Jane Young.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Young; his son Edward Young of Kershaw; and his sister Gladys Webb of Cullowhee, N. C.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
