He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Roe Chitwood and Nancy Baird Chitwood; and his sisters, Joyce and Patricia "Patty". He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Tammie Simms (Kenny), Randy (Constance) and Marty Chitwood (Kathy); his grandchildren, Joshua, Jon Michael, Roe, Scott, Constance Chitwood, Austin and Shelby Simms; and his caregivers, Ruth, Spencer and Donna. He is also survived by friends and other family members.
