He was predeceased by: his parents, Temple Leroy Phillips and Clara Jane Parks Phillips; and his sister Nadine Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Searcy Phillips; his children, Jerry "Lee" Leroy Phillips, Jr. (Vickie), Mark Steven Phillips (Lori), Elaine Phillips Fischer (Jamie) and Tina Phillips Blakley (Roger); and his brother John Preer. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one on the way; and his best friend.
