It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth Broughton Harmon of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hazel J. Broughton and Beulah Blalock Broughton; and her aunt Mildred Byrd. She is survived by : her son Jeffery Moree of Lancaster; her sister June B. Stovall (Ken) of Charleston; her niece Katie Niemeyer (Andrew); her nephew Kyle Stovall; and her great-nephew William "Willie" Gregory Niemeyer of Charleston.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Camp Creek United Methodist Church (4721 Great Falls Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
