He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Knight; and his mother Johnie Knight Carnes. He is survived by: his son David W. Knight (Deborah); his grandsons, Michael W. Knight (Meghann) and Julian C. Knight (Zoe); and his brother Douglas Carnes (Lisa).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (1841 N Rocky River Rd #8925, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
