John Ira Hallman Obituary
We announce the death of John Ira Hallman of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on October 30, 2026, at the age of 74. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Lowery Hallman and Calvin Hallman, Sr.; Calvin Hallman, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jodie McGuirt Hallman; his daughter Mary Blakely Hallman Chikhliker (Tushar); his grandchildren, Mary Ellis Chikhliker and Devan Tushar Chikhliker; his stepdaughters, Addison Rollings and Kathlyn Kyzer (Cody); and his siblings, James Hallman, Scott Hallman and Elizabeth Hallman Mundy.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of A Simple Service Burial & Cremation of Lancaster (201 N Catawba St #2066, Lancaster, SC 29720).
In lieu of flowers, John requested that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in SC or to Heart of Hospice in Lancaster, SC.
