He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny Fowler and Sue Roberts Jessee. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Brooke West Jessee; his sons, Stephan Jessee and John Kohl Jessee; his siblings, Boyd Jessee (Cindy) and Judy Bratcher (Rico); his mother-in-law Barbara Long; his siblings-in-law, Johnny Garner, Robert "Robbie" West, Sandy West, Shari Sanders, Kim Lennon and Nikki Bratton (Greg); his father-in-law Robert West; and his sister Cathy Garner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home & Crematory (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canaan Free Will Baptist Church (1525 Kershaw Camden Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
