He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Richardson, Sr. and Lottie Flemming Richardson; his wife Brenda Richardson; and his siblings, Sylvia Goforth, Bill Richardson and Pat Richardson.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Richardson (Cindy), Brent Richardson (Bonnie) and Jairo Negrão; his grandchildren, Hunter Albright, Emilie Albright, Grant Albright and Taylor Haile; and his great grandchildren, Hensley Haile and Harlan Haile. He is also survived by family members and friends.
