She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Miles and Willie Mae Cassidy Miles; her husband Moe Carter; and her siblings, Frances Todd, James Todd, Carl Todd, Bobby Todd and Jerry Miles.
She is survived by: her children, Mason Eugene Carter (Kimberly), Gary Wayne Carter and Crystal Rosalie Carter; her grandchildren, Cesar Carter, Hannah Henderson, Angel Carter, Raven Presnell, Alayna Carter, Marissa Carter, Donavan Carter, Gracen Carter, Aralyn Loftin, Payton Shute and Kaleb Maurice Carter; her siblings, Helen Hudson and Danny Miles; and her daughter Angela Moss. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery (1841 N Rocky River Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
