He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Elmodam Walton and Opal Estelee Eubanks Walton; and his siblings, John, Teddy, Sam, Betty, Aunean, Sandra and Nora.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Wendy Allen (Dave Welch), Richard Walton (Molly) and Capri Bowman (Bert); his grandchildren, Anthony Allen (Haley), Andrew Allen (Audrey), Marena Allen, Alyssa Catoe, Kierstyn Catoe, Hunter Bowman (Sophia), Jessi Walton, Sadie Walton and Jacob Walton; his great grandchildren, Kameron, Mia, Finley, Emerson, Shilo and Georgia Kate; and his brother Boyce Walton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Indian Land Church of Christ (635 Jim Wilson Rd, Fort Mill, SC 29720).
