The memory of Lake Snipes of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leeo Roberts Snipes and Dixie Blakenship Snipes; his daughter Tonya Michelle Snipes; and his sister Brooker Laswell. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Snipes; his daughters, Sharon Snipes King and Amanda Hanna (Shane); his grandchildren, Lakin Hanna Barrett (Josh), Riley Lake King and Banks Hanna; his sister Jody Blanton; and his aunt Mary Garrison.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home (1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (2893 Bethel Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
